This is my first Jeep build, so cut me some slack.
I'm just 17, working 2 jobs over the summer, so I didn't have much money to work with. Here is what I bought:
'94 Jeep Wrangler YJ,
4.0L High Output w/ 37K miles,
cheap aftermarket hard top,
caved in tailgate,
ugly stained stock wheels,
bent chrome aftermarket front bumper,
and stock everything else.
It was still the stock dark green color, which had to go. My dad and I worked on it when I was off, replaced the slave cylinder, clutch master cylinder, gutted the interior and replaced everything tan with black. It was just rusty floor pans when I got it, so I fixed some rust and rolled in a gallon of bed liner, took out my back seat, and replaced a tailgate. With it running good, I took it to work with me at a body shop and I worked on it after hours, I replaced the drivers side front fender, and got it all straight. We painted it at 5 a.m. one morning. I chose the 2011 Camaro color Synergy Green, used PPG Envirobase paint, and PPG Glamour clear. It turned out AMAZING.(thank you Brad for painting it).
Anyway, I bought some '07 JK Rubi wheels,
, and some Spidertrax 5x4.5 to 5x5 adapters.
I'm pretty proud of it, and I'm already getting offers on it!! Here's the final product.
