Well I put a new radiator in today and snapped a few pics of the steering.

I checked out the steering shaft and it's pretty far extended. It would not hurt for me to get a longer one. I forgot that the 1" body lift stretched it out a decent amount initially. It still seems to be fine but a new one would be nice.

Thanks Chris. I'm definitely down for that. I believe next semester will be wrapping up near the end of April beginning of May. Then I have to go to my sister-in-law's wedding in Jekyll Island.

I'm thinking either early April or June. I would say May but my finals are done the 5th, then the wedding on the 11th and my wife's birthday is the 29th.

Sweet! Yeah that sounds good.

Nah, Eddie has his Christmas party for work he goes to every year. He mentioned having a trip after the first of the year though.

Well Im an instructor at a schoolhouse on the marine corps base out here so the best time for me is during my off courses. Which will be Jan, April, July, and Oct. If we cant get something in April maybe we shoot for July. Id love to do more than a weekend. Maybe i can even start saving and we could try to do a couple parks in the states we have around us. If thats not something you can do financially or with work we'll just do one park Haha i imagine that would get expensive quick lol

Let's shoot for April then and make it tentative and have July as a backup. I know July should be fine because I'll be out of school.

I may just need to keep it to one park but it can be made into a long weekend. I'd like to go to others but money tends to go quick with these trips. I'll check out the calendar for April and see what's going on and send you a PM.

I forgot to mention I swapped the connections on my LED markers so they would be on and flash when the lights are on. They won't flash when the lights (or running lights) are not on. I could wire them up to flash but I'm fine with the way it is now.

I do agree.

On another note, I was sad to see the Dawgs lose tonight but it was a heck of a game.

Found a broken circuit that put power to the speedo back lights. Then I fixed it with a small piece of copper wire and a soldering gun.

If you ever want to just replace it, Morris4x4 has the complete circuit ribbon for about $80 IIRC. I was so broke that I just hard-wired the entire dash directly into the harness with the soldering iron. Not even a connector plug, just soldered directly in. Its been great ever since.

Pete,

I looked into it and found that circuit ribbon but I believe it was for the '87-91 YJ's. I found another site with '92 and above and it was $173.00.

luckily this is the only bad connection I found though it wouldn't hurt if the entire ribbon was replaced.

Thx for the heads up, I wasn't aware that there was a design break or a difference.
