That sounds real nice, though. Trips and partners never worked well with me. Not sure why.

But, yeah. There's more breweries per square mile in that town than in any other town in the nation.

I have to visit Knoxville eventually.

And Miami is a bad place, man. I know a bit of Spanish just because I had to. But the people are very rude. If you can get around that, it has awesome outdoor activities. Boating, fishing, diving, airboating, hiking -- the Everglades is beautiful! But if you're in the city, it's kind of a dump. I could recommend a lot of other places that does things Miami does better. Unless you want a beach-side club. But that's not my scene.
Whenever you get up to NC let me know and we'll try to get a trip going.

I have had this problem too, I didn't know if it was my tires or what. Interesting to see that it happens to KM2's too.

I have aired down to about 5psi with the weight off of the tire, and that lets me get the wood out with needle-nose and a screwdriver. There's a trail that has a lot of mud holes and stumps where I pick up the wood fibers like that.

Got some sweet trails there man

Actually, it's pronounced "mill-e-wah-que" which is Algonquin for "the good land."

My dad had deer hair stuck in the hood of the old Volvo wagon he drove around. He wrecked it and hit a deer not too long after it and it was caught in the crinkles of the hood up until it caught on fire at the Autozone years later.

That's just one of the colorful stories I have about my dad's vehicles. There are countless more.

Thanks for the heads up and doing all the leg work. I'm sure we'll figure something out.

I'm going to get back on the u-bolt plates this evening, I'll post pics of the progress. My new steering system should be coming in the next couple weeks also. Pretty stoked about that.

I was also thinking about the future. I think I've decided to go SOA when I get a place to work on my jeep and a healthy income. That's years away I know but that's the next stage for my YJ, SOA and 35's.

Here's what I did with the u-bolt plates. I wish I welded more than twice a year. They suck but they will work. I also found out that I should have made them a little longer. I'm unsure how much space I'll have if I weld the gussets under the angle on the outside. I got the u-bolts on order so I'm going to wait and lay it out.

I have visited and stayed in 27 of the 50 states. Never afraid to ride my HD anywhere. Until I moved to Miami, actually just outside. Those little blue hairs (actual blue hair) use to tail me so close on my bike I could almost touch their car bumper. The people there drive crazy. Between the Cubans that refuse to speak English and the Blue Hairs. I lasted two months there and could not get out fast enough.

Blue hairs are I believe "Jewish", short women that for some odd reason tint their hair blue. I kid you not! There were so many Blue Hairs driving in the Miami area that I believe they may have a gang status.

Lookin good!! I have been meaning to make those too. My welding has been getting better over the last few months so I may attempt this soon.

Just a heads up on the ranger arm I got a guy off of pirate sending me what he thinks is the right arm for our aplication.

I'm curious to see how it turns out. My steering is done it just needs to be shipped. Waiting patiently.

Not sure if you are dead set on doing the JCR steering but Ruffstuff has a nice setup with heims for a little cheaper. You can also get a forum discount. Check it out.

Are you referring to this one?

http://www.ruffstuffspecialties.com/...g/78STEER.html

I was about to buy it but the shipping was $75 to Georgia which put me around $340 which was right on par with the JCR at $339. The difference being the JCR is already assembled.

I ended up going with a few used items from a friend on a different forum. I'm also getting the Teraflex knuckle. It will probably be the same price as the the kits above after shipping but I couldn't pass on the deal with the knuckle included.
