Some pics of my bumper where the welds were not so good. I bashed it pretty good on the rocks.

My buddy had a good break.

This may be the quickest solution. I'll just weld a plate on the end and call it done...after some smoothing and some paint of course.

We're getting some decent snow here finally, its supposed to be less than 20 F all next week and snow... the local smowmobile clubs are gonna hate me LOL
There's a couple of unmaintained access roads that are fun, and the local mudhole is froze (but its one of those "don't get busted" places)

I checked out the steering shaft and it's pretty far extended. It would not hurt for me to get a longer one. I forgot that the 1" body lift stretched it out a decent amount initially. It still seems to be fine but a new one would be nice.
Stretched my new OEM steering shaft by 3" using the old outershaft... 1" BL and the PM steering box relocator..

That bracket is pretty nice but you'll also need to extend the steering shaft if you have a 1" BL.

Sounds like a blast. Snow is very rare for me so I'm excited when it happens.

I am going to do this. Should be a good test for my 115 Farmhand welder. I also need an old outer shaft.

It came on pretty quickly and stuck around for a couple hours. But when it snowed it was heavy and wet. Our local utility had about 60,000 customers out yesterday.

Well I found out the welder I was given is a Farmhand 115V MIG. I did some searching and it doesn't seem to be that great. Then again, I can't complain because I didn't pay for it. I actually tacked the upper and lower ball joints in this afternoon with it and it didn't do that great. I may need to just practice and give it some TLC. I do not plan on using it for 1/4" material as it appears to only be for smaller stuff.
