I yield, I yield.

Though I did have a number of Sega games (X-Men 2: Clone Wars, Spiderman/X-Man, Venom vs. Spiderman) and nearly the entire X-Men '95 & '96 Fleer trading cars.

More progress. I took my knuckle to work and drilled it out. It was pretty intense and I got two other guys to help me out. The tie rod connection seems pretty thin but it should be fine once I put the sleeve in. I also got the drag link TRE's off. Strangely enough, I pulled a muscle in my ring finger. I was pulling down on vise grips to loosen the jam nut while it was in the vice. It broke and I fell on my a$$.

Hey louie why didn't you just taper the knuckle?

Check out "my little YJ" in the Jeep builds section.

Well I had wanted to the whole time but I found out it was already tapered for the ton TRE's. Unfortunately the taper was on the opposite sides that needed them. The tie rod would have been under the knuckle and the drag link would have been over the knuckle. I wanted to flip my tie rod and get it up out of the way and my drag link would have definitely interfered with my frame at full stuff. Since I couldn't put a new taper from the other side I had to order goferit inserts which required a 7/8" hole for 1 tons. There's still no guarantee the drag link won't interfere and if it does I may need to get out the angle grinder and cutting wheel.

I did ream the drivers side knuckle though.

That makes sense I was not aware that they were already tapered from the bottom. Thats why I liked my high steer arms. they did not have any hole at all so I started with a blank slate.

I Should have just manned up and got a Ford F250 D44 with flat top knuckles.

An axle swap would be harder to do in the parking lot inconspicuously though.

LOL! Yeah need to do it after midnight! I ended up with an f250 housing but my knuckles are from a Dodge ramcharger so I could have the 5x5.5 pattern just like the ford 9" rear. the dodge knuckles are flat top too though. Found a full set of Dodge knuckles on CL for 100 bucks. Paid 86 bucks for the F250 axle from our local pick and pull.

Nice. I guess I'll need to upgrade my little Rayovac head lamp that I've used for years when working on my jeep in the parking lot after dark!

Between my wife and the old lady next door I am not in any better boat than you. Can't make any noise past 9 pm or I hear about it!

About a week ago a guy a few house down decided at 10:30 pm was a good time to tune the Harley. I was out in the garage working on the jeep when the garage door flung open with a pissed off wife. She thought it was me! lol. Wide open throttle then backfire it went on for a half hour. Guy must of been oblivious to the fact that the neighborhood "was" a sleep. Then two days later same thing. Lol

The people behind me (through the woods) get drunk and grass drag their snowmobiles at midnight or later very often. Lots of fun!

You Yankees and your snowmobiles.

I've never even seen one in real life.
