As it sits now with sand tires (that are not enforced as well as a mud terrain). it drives great flexes good. No gearing. I got 4:10s for it and arb lockers 33 toyos. The suspension as amazing. I really really like it for what it is. I want to try the Rancho shocks and coils for comparison.
The ride quality is little on the stiff side. But with a winch and two bumpers it should smooth out with the extra weight.

What color was this Jeep when you bought it? If I remember right you said the Jeep has a stripable coating on it? I think you said it in your LJ thread?

Im curious to see the fit of those Chrysler 300 rims. If I remember right the bolt pattern is off just a few MM from the JK 5.5. I might get a set for my LJ asap.

Their actually closer to the TJ bolt pattern then the JK.. I think it was off by 0.002 something ridiculously low like that.. there is a link to the wheel thread in my LJ build.

You guys know Saudi for the big sand and extreme heat. Have you seen the other side? if not, then those pics will be very appealing to you. this is about 500miles away from the capital city. where I live.

those pics were not taken by me. although I wish I was there when it rained

Exactly what I was thinking - reminds me of Capitol Reef National Park in Utah, and the Waterpocket Fold.

LOL ... gps, cell phone or satellite phone ...
in former times some people could not afford even a camel and crossed the peninsula on bare feet.

Lo2aY:
when you came to visit Abu Dhabi lately (to inquire about the G8) you did NOT call (SSS@ad4x4, remember?)
Do you know that Western Motors have done a JK8 (AEV) here and it is for sale in their corniche showroom? In some nice orange with black wheels

It's very safe. Media is BS. I've been to many places. Saudi is one of the safest. Ask my international friends living here.

Sorry between work, family and trying to locate another truck for my 2015 expo, I had no time. Promise to link up when I'm in your area again. I'm not interested in JK8. I personally think their useless. The bed is not functional
