Pic of the tire...also there was another clean vertical rip through the sidewall about 180 deg on the other side. These sidewalls are beefy and I'm very surprised about this happening on the HWY vs the trail. Any ideas of what really caused it ?

When I first got my jeep it had the same tires on it and the full sized spare on the back had some pretty similar holes in it, but like 15 in total iirc. We concluded the PO had hit a curb at high way speeds

Ya. Just called about the tire and they are going to replace it for free so at least it's not gonna cost me anything.

Ya I aired up to the usual 22psi...interested to see what they have to say when I drop it off this afternoon.

Was that by any chance the front passenger tire? You rammed that pretty hard into a big rock on the exit. Glad they are taking care of the replacement for you though.

Driver front. Looks like I'll have start bringing my spare again as I've learned the toyos aren't bullet proof.

Only got one video of you but here it is, managing the boy was not too conducive to being a cameraman.

It's a bumpy ride but it's a fun one.

I am surprised you got any videos...you were a busy man this trip. He's was a trooper all day. I was impressed with his good attitude especially in the heat.
