Thanks. I'm not quite where I want to be yet. I want Romken status welds.

Your jeep is starting to look serious. I'm all about no flares in the back.

So MTRK's are still on backorder Kumhos prices have gone up over the MTZ's

Might go back to KM2s they've always served me well.

Any thoughts on Toyo MTs ? Great reviews and I have seen them in action. I want to pull the trigger on tires this weekend.

Toyo's are ordered !

Advertised height is 34.9" .

I plan on doing some minor modifications to the metalcloaks before the weekends over.

The toyo's are a nice looking tire. I think they have pretty good tread longevity too. I put the flare back on for now. I am going to do corner armor so I dont have all of the holes in the body visible.

Nice. Flareless looks so good ! But a bit janky without armor. I'm hoping my body color hides the holes a little better than my white one. Cause I'm going flarless FTW

Are you looking at SAVVY aluminum ? If I get the balls I am gonna try and make some alum armor myself...

I don't know about the savvy, a lot of their stuff says backorder on the site and Gerald isn't hardly ever on here anymore.

Ya what a joke. I was never a fan, you can get quality aluminum parts from so many other companies (minus CA's) so I never understood why it was the cool thing to do.

Pretty sure I'll be going with Romken steel or alum.

That's because Gerry is in the middle of switching his operations to a new, larger shop. Essentially having to move up in the world to keep up with demand.

I've found that I prefer aluminum components. Far less work to maintain and, in the event that it gets nicked up (which it will) you don't have to rush to a rattle can to prevent rust, because it very simply doesn't/won't rust.

I like all of the products I have gotten from them so far. The GTS is the real deal.

Fair enough, I don't know his situation. I'm not trying to be a dick

I guess he should have planned much further ahead, I've changed shops once before and my production levels blow his out of the water (millions of parts). We had to hire about 10 more employees just to keep production levels up and move at the same time. But what do I know...
