I met Mark at Detours , he is a heck of a nice guy and an awesome fabricator . The only thing I dont like is that they are lower vs the body mount sliders . It will come down to what you think will serve you better . My wife and kids would like the lower step , while I wish I had just made my own boatsides .

There is a fuse to remove for the dome lights with the doors off. I run doors off 9 months of the year. With it out, you can still turn them on with the stalk switch. They also still turn on when you turn off the key when the lights are on.

95riograndeman & blackjeep05 I really appreciate the compliments. I've always wanted to do a build like this and never had the opportunity. Now I need to hook up the lights and she' be ready for a night of fun!

Yeah, I'm still just undecided. I'll probably go back forth for a while. I've got plenty of time to figure out what I want so I'm gonna drive her as is for a while and see what kind of trouble I get into.

That definitely sounds like the way to go. I knew they were fused, but I figured pulling the fuse would not allow you to turn them on with the switch on the steering wheel. If I can still do that, then I'll just pull the fuse. Thanks!

If I'm not mistaken its the bottom fuse at the far right the number four fuse. Pull it or you could buy some of those little clip deals that go on your door switches either one will work.

Thanks everyone. I guess I'm starting a new project soon. I'm pretty sure I blew a head gasket on my diesel yesterday morning. If so, its gonna be expensive

Yeah it's a 6.0. I've got an EGR delete sitting in the garage, but if it turns out to be the head gaskets the she'll get the full treatment (decked heads, ARP studs, bullet proof oil cooler, and high pressure boots). It was blowing coolant out of the overflow, so it's gotta be either the EGR or the HGs. It wasn't smoking which is why I'm worried that is gaskets
