Little Joy Ride.

So it was nice out today and I decided to wash my Jeep. I spend about 20 minutes washing it then decide to take some pictures at the park to show you guys. I take the pictures and start driving home when a friend comes by with his completely mud covered Jeep and his 36's. He asks me "Where the mud?" Suddenly I say I just washed her, she can be clean for a day. :-) Well lo and behold I'm driving home and I see a dirt path going in to the middle of no where? What? I must investigate. Well heres the pictures I got from the park and the dirt path.

And of course I manage to fall in some mud...


All in all it was a fun investigation. Next time I go there I'll bring a fellow jeeper with me. I didn't do any serious flexing because I was unequipped, had sandals on and didn't have anyone to back me up/spot me. Twas fun though. :-)

That is a very clean YJ!!! Your's is why I might consider one of those as a second Jeep!!!

Yeah, what is it with us???

I have lost count of how many times I have spent a few hours washing my jeep on a Sunday morning, only to go out in the afternoon and drink copious quantities of cold ones while I search for some serious mud. There must be a name for that affliction..

ahahaah. ive done that before, me and my bro washed his XJ, and then rode around for a bit, only to find some undicoverd trails, came back, and it looked like it got painted orange

hehehehe. DAMN GEORGIA RED CLAY!!

The top I have is from http://www.slicktops.com

Its the half-top. I don't care what others say about a half-top during winter/rain and or the company; I absolutely LOVE my half-top. Its gone through one harsh winter so far in NE Ohio and it survived just fine. As for rain, it doesn't look at all. Overall very nice top and I am MORE than happy with it.

Thanks, its 1999 Ford Metallic Green. I love it. :-)

It was either that or the new bright green used on TJs.
