I guess the next big mod will be a cup holder, I am getting tired of hunting for my water bottle, a rack for my cooler would not hurt either.

Haven't gotten around to making a cupholder yet, but tightened up a few things and she is ready for another trail run, there are 2 Canyons north east of Cougar Buttes in Lucerne Valley that need exploring/ trail blazing. Will have to see if I can talk my wheelin buddy into running it with me

New trails will need pictures and GPS coords.

Hey Art,

When are you leaving for HDR? And do you have an idea of where you're camping?

Not much of a camper, unless my buddy brings his motorhome.
The plan is to do some trail blazing this Saturday see if we can cut a trail and then do a trail run on it in 2 weeks

Met with two friends for some exploring, the original goal was to see if we could do a pre run on 2 trails that a friend wants to make a hammer style trail out of.
Well once we entered the first canyon and hiked it partially it became quickly clear that the first canyon was going to take a lot of work to make it passable.
So we turned around and when heading out Mark saw a canyon that looked like a nice challenge which is hence forth dubbed MF and A. It's a pretty steep climb with lots of loose stuff and rocks. Took us several hours to tackle, but was a load of fun.
Once that was done and we found a way back to our starting point we explored the second canyon on Mike's list pretty much the same thing some fun areas and some areas that need quite a bit of work to make them passable. Mark played on a few parts of it after which we headed back to Cougar Buttes and puttered around there for a bit. One of the Bullfrog extreme trails is fun, some of the other stuff is starting to look easy like the Jeep eater. All in All a wonderful day in the desert nice temps, just windy as heck.

I am happy with my pitbulls, have been slowly airing them down, right know I am offroading with them at 7 psi, my wheelin bid swears that I should run them at about 5 psi. The little buggy does really good, he crawls some pretty crazy stuff with it

Well how did your trail ride go?
Made it out to Riffle? From what I have been told and what I have walked of it, it's a wicked trail that involves a fair amount of winching. The story goes that buggies winch on it, maybe more work that one bargains for.
