Started messing with the bracing of the crossmember for the lower control arms, seems to me once this is done the flexing issue should be resolved

Thanks man.
The crossmember kept working the 2 rear bolts on the skidplate loose and that should be resolved now.

Is your trans/t-case hard-mounted to your belly crossmember? Or how is it isolated from the frame?

About half the welding in this thing has been overhead, got the perforated clothing to show for it
Some good leathers help that's for sure, hate them loogies going down your sleeves or your neck

it has rubber mounts, I used 2 body mounts as Isolators seems to very well.
Very little unwinding of the driveline when you step on the clutch after some heavy crawling. This gives you an idea how I shoehorned those isolators in there one on either side of the tranny mount, it works well without any rattling or vibration.

Oh, now i see. That's pretty creative using body mounts. I never would have though of that.

The other picture it just looked like it was bolted to the crossmember that was bolted to the frame which is why I asked.

I like to use the material that I have if at all possible, this toy building stuff gets expensive in a hurry

Started to get my baby ready for this weekend's wheelin fun.
Filled the front diff. Worked on clearancing the front yoke it would hit the ears on the front drive shaft at full droop. Tightened up the collars on the front coil overs a bit so now the front sits where I want it. Still need to raise the back a little. Filed the dead splines out of the pitman arm, re indexed it and torqued it down. Pretty much stuck a wrench on any suspension bolt I could find so it's all nice and tight again
