Oh I know that.. it just seems like every time i go to Stoddard we have newbs or really big groups and stick to the easier stuff. Haha.

I recognize Icebreaker and PE but not those other nice looking canyons.

You know Steve, he loves to roam around in the desert.

The fun started when we were down to 4 Jeeps

Looks like Tinkertoy sprung a leak, bummer! Oh well it's just a sector shaft seal, I am fairly positive I have a seal kit for it. Guess it's a good time to move the reservoir closer to the pump and fill it with synthetic power steering fluid.
Guess 4 years of severe trail abuse it's not to bad

Just drove ole Scrappy down the street, pretty spunky in high range, going to have to try it on a sand hill sometime soon, since Bloody Mary is halfway up a loose sand hill. IMS is selling aluminum round bar, would be awesome if I can order a piece so I can make an adapter for the front drive shaft. Then the belly and some other good stuf! This thing might just make some of this fall winter wheeling season.

Lil bit at the time Johnny, as money allows. Got to do some parts scrounging, do some stuff around the house to keep wifey happy, you know how it goes. Most all the harder stuff is done. Put a smile on my face to putter down the street in it.
Nothing fell off which is even better Going to have to weld some of the stuff that's just tacked together though. Ain't gonna be a rock bouncer, but will amke me another fun toy for sure.

Some crappy video

Looked in the junk/ spare parts pile and have all the seals to fix the steering box on Tinkertoy. Got the pitman arm pulled off, need to drill a small hole in the seals and pull them out

Found the why the sector shaft started leaking, pretty wild that the pressure in the power steering box can bend a thick steel washer like that. I know it was perfectly flat 3.5 years ago when I rebuild the box

Sector shaft seals have been replaced, piman arm is back on. Removed the steering reservoit, going to move it closer to the pump. Then on to find some synthetic powersteering fluid

Got some machining to do

WIN_20140829_192105 by aartjestaartje, on Flickr

Do not want to run a 1210 U joint at the transfercase side of the front driveshaft. This will fix that 1330 for the win
