Normally it's just a put put trail, but it being wet and muddy made it fun. Plus I hadn't taken my lil Jeep offroad in atleast 2 years

Didn't have time or energy to swap tires and change out the driveslugs. So the lil one it was, guess I still know how to drive it.
Was fun for a somewhat quick outing with new Jeep addicts

Well 2 Days after my Big Bear trip the check engine light in my lil Jeep started flashing on my grueling 5 mile commute to work. On the way home check engine light came on solid. Checked codes found po304 misfire on cyl 4. Today finally found a bit of energy to take a look at it pulled sparkplug looked pretty worn, regapped it to spec for the heck of it, swapped sparkplug wire with #1 to see if that had any bearing on it's ailment. Drove it for 15 miles all is well. Hit up Vatozone and bought 8 plugs. Will swap em in lil Yeller when it cools off. Big Jeep has close to the same milage so going to pamper it for a change and swap the sparkplugs also.

Do you think it was the spark plug only or do you think the wires might be bad as well?
I haven't started on my gas tank shield yet. Still have almost half a tank of gas and no containers to put it in. I was thinking on doing that shock outboarding when I have the tank out. That synergy set up is what I think I want to do, but it's $250. Ouch.

Just the plugs. regapped it swapped the wires in different location and drove it, smooth idle again and no check engine light.
Finished the big Jeep and will start the lil one in a while. Funny thing on the big Jeep the only plug really worn was number 4. Curious if the lil Jeep has the same wear they are both close in milage. Kinda going slow seems like I hurt my foot or broke my big toe. Sucker smarts pretty bad

After sitting/ lying on the couch for most of my vacation week due to a gout attack, I am finally able to hobble around in the garage a bit. Sitting on my behind just outright drives me crazy. Got tires swapped on my Jeep and the windshield put back on so Sunday at Big Bear is gonna happen. Even if it takes a hand full of pain killers.
Tore the rear axle of my buggy apart last night, gonna see if I can get it regeared this week. Now I am on the fence about leaving the ARB in it or sticking a Lincoln locker in it for simplicity. Somebody did a nice Job shaving this axle, but still wished they would left that alone. Oh well some trussing and a girdle across the back will restore some of the integrity lost by this mod.

I can toss a few coins in, you want quarters, nickels or dimes?

Seriously though, shoot me a PM if you decide to part with it and I might be able to work something out if it will work for me. Is it a 35 spline D60 and what carrier break is the locker?

I'm undecided if I want to get rid of my spool or keep it simple, maybe toss something like a Detroit in. I just want to steer a little easier and having the front unlocked at times would help.

It's in a HP D60 so that tells ya where the carrier break is, it's 35 spline. It's an older old style, still has the large copper line on the manifold. Tell ya what, Provided it's good (it looks very clean and unmolested) I would gladly trade it for 2 x16" super bright led light bars if there is such a thing. If available they would fit nicely inside the cage.

Finally took a few pics of my powersteering pump conversion, gonna turn this thing in a Jeep yet

Scattering and splattering, gonna go Lincoln locker in the rear, need to swap a few shims on the carrier and I can get a pattern, numbers on the pinion are the same. Hope that pans out. Would make this quick and easy, just the way I like it.

Pulled a few thin shims out of the carrier and need to add a pinion depth shim and I should have a good pattern,
Not bad looks like I am going to be lucky on this one. But then one more to go
