Went to see my buddy Fred today, as usual, his pretty Silver Jeep is seeing another round of modifications. Full hydro steering came out.
If you consider full hydro and highway driving don't do it. You will not like it.
He actually engineered himself a pretty sweet bellcrank setup, that uses the stock steering box and pitman arm has a draglink that comes from the steering box through the grille to a bellcrank next to the winch. From there a draglink goes from the bellcrank to the right hi steer arm. Draglink runs at same angle and has same length as the trackbar. All in needs now is a home for the hydro assist ram and finish welding, came out pretty darn slick. He just did not enjoy driving his Jeep on the street anymore with the full hydro steering. Way to twitchy and the contnues walking of the steering wheel is a drag also. Just like I told him

Winning circle , just realized that every one of these Jeeps has won TJ of the month. Not going to happen often that you got 4 of them wheelin together. Or get them together in the same pi in the wild

Jeremey's is a sweet rig and Greg's is very rapidly attaining TJ of the month status as well

Thanks y'all but Jeremeys rig is leaps and bounds beyond mine . There is so much stealth on his rig that its just ridiculous . Maybe one day we both will make the TJOTM club .

Rory, maybe it's good you are not, would get you hooked on Hammer wheelin. Once that happens there is no end to the slippery slope

Yesterday reworked the left header so the front driveshaft will now have some living space

Today bend up the lower coolant tube, snake through there pretty nicely, will weld it together and in place this week and see if I can bend the upper one

Gonna try to get this jungle gym motoring under it's own power this week. Found all the radiator hoses I need online, but they will not ship till the 24th so going to see if the local Napa main store can hook me up. Then on to kartek ( the local sand, 4wheel and what not dream store) for some brake hoses and a ton of fittings as well as some exhaust bends. Gonna be fun, I gots lots a welding wire and a new bottle of welding gas so it's on like Donkey Kong
