Our race is done so just got home Andrew. For a first time racer, extreme budget built on a tired old YJ he did reasonably well.
Held his own with overheating old 4.2l engine pretty well till he broke a front axle shaft and all his tools had scattered down the desert beforehand. Had a great time.

Me old man eh Nate, still got more ha

Also was really cool to hang out in the Falken pit when Gerald pitted as well as the Genright guys.
Learned a thing or two about pit protocol and what should be in the pits

Didn't see any of the 4550 crew either. We started off at the start line and watched a few cars go, then headed to backdoor, saw some rollovers and carnage, then went over to the plaque at Sunbonnet. Sunbonnet was awesome and not a lot of people.

Started to do a bit more tinkering on my never ending tinker project
Farted around with the grille.
Some bondo and a hole for the winch cable to come through and that part is as it should be.

Found a nice reservoir for the steering

Going to try and get the radiator mounted in the rear tonight so I can get some tube and start running that to the back tomorrow.
