Shame you couldnt re route it . The fence and sidewalk would have been the tough part for me as I dont have a way to jet / mole pipe . None the less its done and you have wheeling ahead , life is good .

Had a fun three days beautiful scenery, somewhat disappointed with the difficulty level of Swamplake trail, but then the better part of the Dusy delivered.
Here is a link to some scenic pics, we didn't get out of the Jeeps for spotting or stacking so no action pics.

Yeah I guess I should have mentioned that I've done swamp on 33's with open diffs. several times haha. It is a fun trail though with some good spots for us 35" and belows. Taking some different lines on Rooster rock is fun. Did you run the entire trail or just to the lake, camp, and then back the same way?

It was gorgeous and cool between 60-70's during the day and between 35 and 40 at night. Was colder at Ershim lake than Grouse lake

You west coasters have all the good stuff. Here in the south we have mud and dirt with occasional rocks. Definitely no hills of just rock like that last picture. Looks awesome.

This is a fun line up rooster... it gets more and more dangerous the further left you run it...

I think this is me at the same spot you're in on that photo but I'm running it on the far right. This is RIGHT after rooster just after the big tree on the top, about 20ft. from it? I think my chairs are leaning on the rock you can see in your photo to the right.

It's right after the top of rooster rock you go right of the tree and make a left turn. We climbed the ledge on the left side of the tree and then dropped back into the trail. Nice lil ledge the bottom part is almost straight up and about 5 feet tall

That looked like fun, our play thingy is before that, right after where the Jeep is at the top of Rooster.
Crawling on the left of that climb looks like fun, just don't want to start crabbing to the left.\Cool vids and nice air Nate

Here is a lil recap of our trip
Met at my bud's house at 5 AM Wednesday morning, drove 300 miles to Shaverlake CA, then another 21 miles to the trailhead of Swamp lake. Drove 5-6 miles of dirtroad to the actual trail, then ran half the trail to Grouse lake got there at 3.30 PM
Setup up camp did a bit of fishing and hiking made dinner relaxed a lil for a change watched bats pick bugs of the water surface was way cool and turned in for the night.
Thursday was a hard day made us feel old lol.
Finished Swamplake trail, hunted for our trailers, then drug the whole shebang up too kaiserpass found out we couldn't park at the trailhead, fun lil road for trailers in parts the road. Was at the most 1 foot wider than the trailers, rock wall on one side couple a thousand feet drop on the other and steep. Turned around, backtracked a few miles found an area to park unloaded the Jeeps and started rocking. Nine miles of continues crawling and still made the campground before dark, man that day made me feel sore and old
Got there at 5.30PM Setup camp ate dinner relaxed watched the stars before hitting the sack.
Friday morning got up ate breakfast, packed up our junk, hit the trail, we kinda took it easy since both Jeeps were a bit low on gas.
Got to the trailers and made the fun drive back to civilization. Hit Clovis CA around 1.30PM ate lunch got gas and headed home which brought more fun. My bud's truck or trailer started vibrating real bad on the highway and took us quite awhile to figure out after screwing around and pulling off the road several times I found that one of his trailer tires had a tire casing failure. Once we had that changed we hit the road and made it home around 10.30 pm. Funny how I find this stuff relaxing
