These particular doors aren't the greatest, but they're mine now so I love them. The windows are clear enough in spite of the damage to the passenger side. Really though I don't care since they are for rain protection only and the actual usage of the uppers are slim.

Here are some more "new and improved" painted door pics.

As you can see below I painted the inside grey fabric black also. Much improved.

Had an opportunity to take some shots with the top and doors off. Beautiful day yesterday.

I really love that fender mod, it really makes the front look CJ-vintage which is sweet. Have you considered tinting or getting smoked lenses for the turn singles on the fender flare? That would really add a nice clean look to it IMO. Sweet jeep regardless

Thanks for the compliment.

I like the yellow signals though.

Great looking TJ. How did you mount the winch to the stock bumper? Did you use a plate or just bolt it up?

If you look close there is a Smittybilt plate. It was $50. It's the same plate that Superwinch tries to sell for $70.

I decided to list the stinger. I hope I don't regret it.

Great build. I like the pace, not to crazy, just slow and steady. Jake

I just ran across this thread today. How are the fenders holding up with the plate in there? I'm seriously thinking of doing this myself.

I took it to Harford Tire on Route 1 and 136. They had a road force balancer and I figured it would do the trick. The guy took one look at my tires and said the road force wouldn't help them and to get new tires. They had about 58,000 miles on them so I agreed.

I went with General Grabbers AT2. They are the cheaper version of the BFG's I had previously. The ride home was great. No more wobble and equal road manners to the BFG's.

what size tires are these grabbers? i would love to get a set of 285/75r16 and would want a black sidewall but everywhere i look its only sold with OWL sidewalls. did you do something to them to blacken them or did they come like that?
