Lift kit

I'm getting a 2" rough country lift and adding 265/70/18 tires on my 2008 grand cherokee, any advice.

I'm kindve nervous about how it will turn out, I'm not concerned about a little more stiff of a ride it's just the first time I have ever lifted my car and added bigger tires

sounds like you have it figured out already

rough country has budget lift kits. if you start trail riding with them regularly then they will start to fall apart. your on road ride quality is going to suffer especially when getting up to interstate speeds. if you dont mind a rough ride and only want to drive around town without going off road then it will be fine. otherwise just save your money for a more reputable brand.

now i know someone is going to post saying "you are wrong, rc is the best you can buy in the world and on Venus" but my skyjacker is 10 years old and 0 problems but yet i see year old rc lifts with cracked bushings and busted shocks regular in my off road group.
