I did have a write up but I cleaned up my thread and removed it. Here is the write up I followed, I'm 99% sure I used the same hole saw size as in that but I am away from home for a week and unable to confirm by looking at the saw physically. I saw some people using a size bigger but I figured I could do the smaller size and then just sand down the inside lip of the hole with a rotary grinder bit on a drill, which I had to end up doing. I got it nice and snug in there though which is what I wanted.

Thanks, I just added her on the title for valentines day. She was always complaining that technically it was only my jeep, now it's ours.

Got my front axle in.

If only i could decide on the suspension to run then i could get to work on the rear axle and be one more step closer to getting these bad boys under.

Got my rear bumper project under way.

What's left,
1. Weld around receiver on both sides of the bumper
2. Drill receiver pin holes in the cargo carrier tube and hitch tube.
3. Setup trailer wiring

So i got the bumper project all buttoned up and the rear fenders as well as the rockers came in. The morning of leaving for an Easter weekend at URE the wife and i finished up the rockers and pulled out of the driveway with the trailer behind us.

It rained on Saturday but it was an overall blast.

Thanks!

So my rear pinion seal took a **** on me again.

Also a U joint strap came loose.

Just driving along about 350 miles after URE and "clunk clunk clunk" it dropped out.

As far as the seal goes I suspect premature wear also due to the fact that my first seal replacement was 3 months ago and maybe I didn't torque the pinion nut enough or apply enough RTV.

For the U joint strap, there is some scuffing on one of the bolts and the corner of the strap. I was rocking on the diff pretty hard on a section of Daniel which I suspect to be the cause.

Hadn't really done much to the Jeep until recently.

Swapped over the a ZJ tie rod and went with an adjustable front and rear track bar.

Right now i'm just saving up for the axle swap.

Here's this weekends trip to URE. For having 30" tires with 25k on them they still pull me through a lot.

Update: Replaced a U-Joint. Received the rear brackets. Started grinding down the D44. Started a LED tail light project.

Still stuck on wiring my tail lights, if anyone thinks they could help check out - http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f20/n.../#post25913074

So the TSL/SX's were getting out of balance every 500 miles for some reason and since the tread was getting low i decided to go ahead with the next step in my plan..

33" semi-mud terrain tires for DD'ing.

Once the D44's go under they will be my around town tires and i will save up for a set of 36" TSL/SX's along with some allied beadlocks that will be loaded into a trailer and brought off roading.
