Why are you selling the soft doors?

I don't really WANT to, I just could use the money more than the doors being that I could make due with just either having the doors on or off. I've been playing in my head with the idea of trading my doors for some hard half doors too if the opportunity arose. All the money I get from the doors will go right back into the rig for other more important things (like steering).

Grill hoop has finally arrived. I need to get the other style tow hook and hardware from Gerald before I'll be able to put it on though. It just doesn't fit with the tow points that came on the original bumpers. Not to mention the bumper bent in a recovery last year so I'm worried the base of the hoop won't sit well on the bumper. Also picking up some Currie steering from a guy here on the forum this week.

The MTZ's have been good. They haven't been wearing GREAT, but not bad and have done a good job off road. I've been happy with them

Currie steering has been acquired and installed. Feels totally solid and much better than before. I'm stoked to finally have my sketchy, worn out, weak stock linkage off. I guess i'll post a picture eventually, but everyone has seen it before

Got the hoop and bumper all painted up and installed, only thing left to do is rewire the fog lights (just sitting on the hoop in the photos) and pick up some tow hooks since I had to scrap the older style Savvy tow points. I haven't decided whether I want to leave the lights on top of the hoop or have them down lower on the bumper...

Thanks, guys. I'd been at school in Utah for the past year without the jeep so I didn't spend too much time on here, Zach. The MTZ's have been wearing not great but definitely not bad, I'd say they'll last between 20-25k miles. And no rubbing at full lock.

awesome build man digging the white and black theme! i noticed when you installed the grill hoop on your savvy bumper you moved your fogs to the mounts on top of the bar. my question is, could fogs still be on the actual bumper when the hoop is installed?

How did the silicon on top of the rockers hold up? About to put some rockers on and debating on using silicon along the back side of them at the very top.
