haha yeah, i am still not sure about them. Thats only because i drive a lot of people around in the back, and i dont trust the lap belts only. Plus most times the cant find of so no one uses them. So with a family style i will make sure everyone actually wear it.

Well, she died this morning. Well should i say she wouldnt start at all this morning. I had enough power for the radio and then it would just die when i turned the key. So i went out go myself a new battery hooked that up, praying thats all it was, turned the key and.....
. . . . . . . . . . . It started, so it was just the battery. haha. I am contimplated putting the 1in shackles i have on to give me some extra height but idk. If i do that i know it will be a *****, and then once i get it done ill probably have vibs. :/ so not sure what ill do. But i will go wheeling this weekend.

Just FYI I have the 4" RC and also 1" RC boomerang shackles. I didn't have any vibrations whatsoever with just the T-case drop and axle shims but my slip yoke was leaking a lot. I found an NP231 with SYE for $20 so that was installed right away. I used a cherokee front CV driveshaft and had a local welder cut it down. He also cut the brackets off my 8.8 and welded on the new spring perches and shock mounts. Total cost was around $400 to replace everything from the transfer case to the axle and get it welded up. (Not including regear or locker.) So keep an eye out for good deals, they are out there and some of these modifications don't have to cost as much as some people believe. Of course this is with you doing all the work, not a shop.
Also, did you wheel RC with no doors? I'm wondering if I should pick up a bikini/windjammer/duster and run my full doors when I go up there, because of the mud. |

Yeah, i will def be looking for deals. I wish i could run the SYE and shaft right now.
But yeah i ran door less, and didnt get muddy. There isnt a lot of mud up there really, i did get water inside from the one big hole but it didnt bother me.

He also has Xenon extended flares which helped with the mud.

Thanks man,
Tomorrow, if I wake up kinda early and its nice out. I am going to take out the carpet and try and make my speakers not move around. I will probably keep the rear seat out for now, I may be looking into getting Huricliner soon. It sucks with my carpet because it has a layer of foam under it thats glued down, so thats a ***** it remove. :/ Also, i have some plans for the future. ![]()

a previous owner sprayed rhino liner in mine, a bright tan. i am still not sure if i like it, its very slick and always looks dirty. i actually preferred my old yj with the original painted floor with worn rusty scratches.
but i understand about the foam and carpet thing, my old one smelled like a wet golden retriever sleeping in an ashtray, i tore it out immediately. i will keep an eye on this thread and see what else you do. |

yeah, i always leave it out and rain, and i think it may help with rust issues that i dont want to have. Plus the inside color is painted bright light blue. So it will look like **** with stock floors.
But i have lots of plans but no money. haha But i am turning 18 soon so i can raid the local junkyards. haha
