Thats what im afraid of but the systems leaking from the pump and the box so box first and then pump, have you had to replace your pump yet?

Ordered PSC 279 steering gear and a Derale power steering cooler. Should be in next week ill post some pics, the box was still working OK till today. It now shoots ps fluid out of the output section that connects to the pitman arm so hope fully this will fix the system. I'm worried that the pump or resiviour may also be leaking so i'm going to clean them this weekend and wait and see were the are new fluid marks.

Awesome haha wow well that sucks, and this weekend i cleaned it all off to find out what else was leaking. It appears that the pump or resvior is also leaking but i'm hoping its just a loose fitting ill take a look wen i replace the box.

Well im about to take every thing apart so ill see what it is. Well i've decided to sell the jeep, theres no single reason and i love my jeep but its going to go. Im going to fix every thing wrong with it now and sell it for hopefully enough to pay for a civic or something better on gas.

Haha if only it was that simple its more a family issue than me wanting to sell it. I love my jeep but i also go dream bigger than what i can do now and im not just gonna stop with the jeep. Im going to save up money and buy up the stuff to build a real off road monster while i'm without a jeep so when im out off college and can pay to do it right ill get one again lol. I just cant keep droping the money in to it that i have been and it looks like the jeeps about to need a new transmition so im gonna sell it and get somthing that hopfully wont cost me as much a week as this one does. But if i cant get what i want for the jeep ill probibly just let it sit at the house and find rides for a while, we'll see how it plays out i kinda want a change of pace and a friend is willing to sell me his RX-8 for cheap and its by far the most fun car i've ever driven so time will tell.

Well i'm back. I decided to not sell the jeep, the money situation has now improved, im not having to drive everyday, and what i thought was my translation going ended up being just a completely destroyed tranymount and worn out motor mounts. In the time i was gone i have settled down and really decided what i want to do with the jeep. If you've seen 82nome's jeep you no its amazing and yet not stretched or overly worked and while my jeep wont really look at all like his it is my inspiration to keep and build my jeep. This month ill be ordering every thing i need to put a fuel cell in the jeep and i'm going to get rc 2.5 in progressive coils. I'm looking for a good front adj track bar, currie or savvy. I need to read and see if they've found one that wont hit the diff yet without a new bracket.

I wouldnt recommend RC 2.5" coils. After a while they sag and ride like crap. The savvy 3" coils are much better. And I'd probably get the currie TB just because I havent heard anyone say anything bad about it.

Only reason i was looking at the RC was cheap and there like slinkys they'll droop pretty far and that would complement the rest of the suspension. I haven't really read many reviews, but imped was running them for a while and liked them. I haven't looked at the savvy springs i was under the assumption that they were curries.
After looking at the savvy/currie tb there 3 versions witch all appear to have the same shape but have joints for different sized bolts. Savvy has them for cheaper tho...

Im most focused on the fuel cell now bc i've hit my gas tank droping off stuff so many times and the stock "skid" that supports the tank is rusting pretty bad and since its 300+ for a skid, the fuel cell for around 400 is worth it. Well read impeds thread and did some reaserch and it looks like ill drop the RC from the list, so the new situation is savvy 3" or 4". Going to have to look at some pics of jeeps with similar set ups the 4" seems too high but would b nice to have more than my current 3" of up travel.

Look at AEVs 3" springs.. my bro as done a lot of research on those and he seems to be convinced. I will second the RC springs. they are not completely crap but if u don't plan on replacing them down the road don't waste your time .. my brother is running their 2.5" coils and even though it doesn't look bad he is complaining of them sagging.. if I were you i wouldn't really worry about a fuel cell and get the Genright skid. it would protect it and push it up about an inch. and if your looking into 4" Id just get a 1 BL on top of the 3" springs that way u have the option of going belly up down the road

The Fuel cell was something i was working on before i decided to see the jeep iv got most of the fittings and the main reason i want to do it is so i can stretch this summer and bc no matter how good a skid is ill never have to worry about dropping on the tank with a cell. Ill have to look at the springs i've really got no idea what ill do for those yet but my pucks have got to go. I think ill stick with 3" bc i already feel like my 35s are small now and with cloaks i think the huge gap would look weird. Time to research how are the long arms on the road?
