It does suck that you wheel out west and lincoln locking the front end probably wouldn't be the best idea. Anyways i hope you decide to run this axle and if you have any questions on getting it in there feel free to PM me, or call me.

Thanks for the heads up. I think I'm going to keep my current 44 out back though.

I still don't have a plan set in stone. I currently have the front 44 up for sale on craigslist...just not sure I can justify spending the money to build it. Once it gets brackets, steering, gears, and an E locker, it would be a decent chunk of change. So far there has been no interest though. If I sell it, the money saved could still go into finishing the Jeep, or toward a truck, car trailer, or maybe toward a down payment on a house.

Alright guys, I SOLD THE HP44.

Back to the original plan. I'll Polish the HP30, lock the rear up again, get the tube fenders on, do some sort of cage add on...THEN KEEP WHEELIN' THE PISS OUT OF IT ON 35s.

Must be in the air. With the pending beach move, I'm thinking of ditching my HP44 & sticking with 35's too, but I still have the LP 30.

LP is fine man! If you're going to build one do a HP, but if you've already put money into that LP..... run it.

I sometimes wish I had that kind of self control and knew when to leave well enough alone lol.

I dig it and think you'll be more satisfied overall.

And that right there describes the last 1.5 years for me.....much happier, less stress. The Jeep is no longer priority #1. The whole "keeping up with the Joneses" thing gets old and it's nice to step away and be happy with what you've got. Enjoy it man, don't let it dictate your life.
