I might be ready for a engine swap then. Stop by and see the project.

It'd be neat to see it. I'd like to make a trip to Gilbert too...I've never wheeled there

Wheeling isn't bad. If you want to do the hard stuff we would need to go with a few people. My rig wont be ready but I would co-pilot.

There is wheeling in MN...just not as much as out here. A truck and a trailer will be high on the priority list once I'm living in MN as I'm sure I'll get the itch for CO wheeling...driving the jeep cross country just plain stinks.

My buddy Spencer and were actually just talking this morning about making a turkey time Moab trip. Keep me posted and let's make a plan!

Sounds good man. Will your rig be wheeled upon completion?

Thank you. I don't mind at all. They're 2.25" spacers made by a machine shop in Texas that sells them on ebay. The front tires rub a little at full lock, but they work fine. Here are some more pictures just for kicks..

In other news: A couple of buds and I are heading to Moab this month (11/27-12/1). I'm not sure what trails we'll be running but all three of our rigs are on 35s so it wont be anything too extreme. If anyone is planning on being there the week of Thanksgiving let me know! If anyone is interested in joining our group for a day or the whole week, PM me!

Lastly, my homie Gavin shared pictures from our fall Holy Cross/Chinaman's trip, so I might as well pass them along.

We had a fun group for that weekend. Our group consisted of one Silver JK Rubi on 35" MTRs, one red YJ with 35" BFG ATs, one yellow stretched TJ on tons and 37" military tires, one yellow stretched TJ with a 383, tons and 37" PBRs, and my Jeep.

Nice build. I like the clean lines. I have a very similar idea for what I want to do with my TJ except it will be linked in the rear instead of leafs. Enjoyed reading your thread

Thanks! A linked rear would be sweet. When/if you go through with it, make a build thread...I'd like to see it!
