It's a cool place that's for sure. A guy could always fly to Moab and rent a jeep there. Ran into a few folks on the trail that went that route. It's surprising how capable a Rubi is in stock form!

The bumper is 1/4" steel folded to fit just like the stock one. It's 44" wide with shackle mounts welded on each side

That was just a test fit. It slips on and off better than the stock one. I will be drilling holes for the lights, steering box skid, and the license plate (unfortunately). Then I will wire wheel it, prime and paint! Finished pictures soon to come!

Yes but probably not soon...Right now its on a 2" spacer lift with #129 6 cylinder springs which gave me about 3/4" more in the front, and a 1.25" body lift. In the future I would like to ditch the spacer lift for either Rusty's 3" springs or some 2" OMEs or something. I'd also like to upgrade control arms all around. AND someday get some Bilstein shocks.

Too humid here to paint today....Looks like I'll have to wait until tomorrow. I will also cut and mod the steering skid slightly to better fit with the bumper.

Got the new bumper painted and installed along with my steering skid.
I used Rustoleum Hammered black which kindof turned out a charcoal color. I did about 3 coats of primer, 3 of color, and a lot of clear. I like it! Let me know what you guys think!
