Thanks man, I like the bumper too. Once I have the time I think it will look even better with the holes and ends welded up.

As far as the jack goes, I painted the big shaft part black and the handle black, and the other pieces grey.
Reason number 1: I thought it would look sharp.
Reason number 2: everyone has a red jack.
Reason number 3 I'm broke until future paychecks so puttsy mods like painting the jack and cutting my bumper will curb my hunger for modification until I can afford to do cool stuff again.

Am I going any bigger? I hope so. But it probably wont be too soon since I just got the 33s.

In the short term I will finally be getting an alignment/possibly replace ball joints.

Some day it will have a full cage, some 3" springs, 35s, Lockers, gears and some kind of axle upgrade.

In the not too distant future i want to Armor it up a bit more. I will hopefully purchase a steering box skid plate and some steel corner armor.

How's that for priorities?

I put the jack back together. I'll post a picture of it tomorrow. It looks real good in my opinion.

I also pulled out all my carpet today and washed all the red dirt and mud from Moab and CO out of the tub. I picked up some supplies tonight to do something I've been wanting to do for a while. ...You guys will have to wait to see what it is.

The first coat worried me a bit. But in the last picture you see the final coat. I think it turned out real good. It's more smooth (similar to rhino) so it shouldn't excessively trap dirt and should clean easily. I spent the whole evening lining the tub. I think I did a decent job.

Looks good, I need to bedline my TJ aswell, but not sure what to do.

How do you like the duplicolor?

Easy to put on?

Any comments, pros, cons, issues?

I actually used the Rustoleum brand.

It was tremendously easy to put on. The trick is to get the metal clean before doing anything. Thats what took me the longest. My jeep had a thick layer of nasty on the floor. I scrubbed and hosed and scrubbed and vacuumed. Get it as clean as possible before anything.

I sanded the entire surface with 120 grit sand paper. I would recommend 120 as it really roughs up the surface to allow for the best adhesion. Once I sanded it real good I removed any and all sanding dust using a wet sponge and then used alcohol based glass cleaner to further clean the surface. I bought two small paint rollers and a small foam brush. All of them came in real handy. I really like the Rustoleum stuff already because it went on even after being mixed and has a bit of texture but not so much that it should trap too much dirt.
All in all im happy so far and only time will tell how durable the stuff is. But I still have 1/4 a gallon. So if i ever have to touch up some scratches...No big deal. I couldn't have beat the price anywhere else.
