So far so good. It is not a daily driver. It is for enjoyment. Living in Colorado I have lots of places to go play, and not to far from Moab, which I have never been to but I feel it may happen soon.

Following your build. Looks great.

So much jealousy occurring from my general direction.

So my thoughts for the day:

So there is the jeep wave. Says "I respect you and your choice of transportation."

We need another that says "Good day fellow jeeper. We are going to go get dirty and try to not get stuck on stuff....somewhere. Pull a u-turn and catch us if you can!"

Sounds like a homerun signal

Today is not my day. I drove to and from work today. Total of 8miles.

Went to go to the bank, jeep won't start. I believe it to be something with the relay connection. Put starter relay in horn, it works. Put horn relay in starter. Doesn't work. Brand new battery. What. The. F***

First off, what is the homerun signal? Need to know if we are going to speed the word.

Second, if you have power, good ground. I would next check the starter, or starter solenoid. Thought I was reading a little ways back you just replaced starter on it though? Could be another build. Been looking at a lot for ideas.

Like in baseball. Ump kinda raises his arm and makes a little twirl with his finger straight up.

And yes. That was me. Replaced it twice. The ground is fine. I have checked the resistance across all circuits. Its the starter. Returning it one more time in the AM hoping it was just a bad lot and I'm going online and ordering the best if that one goes.

Ok. Will spread the word.

Sucks about your starter. You should have a few laying around and figure out a way to make it a quick release. Get it done like a NASCAR pit stop.

And just for the record, I'm terrible at baseball. The throw like a 3 year old. Get the ball, long run while pulling my arm back for the throw, jump to a stop, almost hit myself in the back of the head with the ball as I throw it, hold on to long and throw the ball into the ground about 5 feet in front of me and watch it roll to a stop, and repeat until it gets where I wanted it to go. Batting is worse, never hit a homerun in my life. Probably why I didn't know the signal.

Yeah, I have it down to a 5 minute install/removal. I brought the starter to advanced auto and got it tested. Its fine. Cleaned up the connection points and it started right up. Sigh of relief. Still have to figure out the squeakies. I'm really sick of using 1st gear.

Softball was the one sport I was really good at. I was a beastly catcher until volleyball ruined my knees. Then I moved to be a beastly 1st basemen. My crowning achievement though was being a wicked accurate lefty batter and a powerhouse righty batter.

Well at least it's running. I'm hoping for a camping trip next weekend. Might be a little cold and a few feet of snow, but that's all part of the fun.

An ambidextrous person, what a life. I play hockey, the sport I can figure out. Wish I could play lefty. More teams looking for left handed players and sticks are so much cheaper. But way off topic. Have you done a belly up on your jeep? If not, are? Which one did/do you want to do?

While the colors here have been beautiful, I am so ready for snow. Although, I am in the middle of getting some ink and I stepped outside for some air and my god did it get cold quick.

I haven't done the belly up yet. That's next on the list when I work out the current bugs and catch up from my first grad school payment.
