Nope. Not working. Borrowing a friends car to go get a new starter and tools hopefully.

I think his bolts are seized. Impact wrench won't budge them and we don't have an air ratchet

OK. Got the starter and my tool box. I should be good to go to switch it when I get out of work.

I'll post an update - wish me luck!

Ok - so starter came out easy peasy!

The bearings in where it catches the flywheel did seem a bit resistant.

All in all it was a 10 minute job. No problem whatsoever (for the first time ever on this Jeep)

Started RIGHT up... like.... right the f*** up. After I did the fuel pump it always had a bit of a lag. Turns out i think the starter was wearing out the whole time.

I did to get it home from sears the first time

So - had a mildly productive weekend. Spent 5 hours at the DMV - switched my residency, got my license and Alice has new tags. I just ran out of time to get my class M endorsement. However, I did also buy my first car off my mom to fix up and use for school. I start Tuesday - almost 400 miles a week for 2 years.

Here she is, looking good.

Ohh... that is a good idea. Ill have to special order some chrome plastidip!

Thanks man - I am really loving it. I cant believe the difference $3 made in using half a can of Krylon Fusion leftover from the fenders to paint the entire console.

I will get some good pictures as soon as the sun comes out. Promise! Happy Monday everyone!

Won an old cabinet from work in a random drawing. A few people asked how I would get it home. I chuckled.

I present - my new garage chemical storage delivery system!

Sweet! Judging from the shape, it has plenty of experience.

Meh- its a little dinged up on the bottom (put it in upsidedown - almost rolled it up and over on the jeep to get it standing up without lifting the whole weight) but the Jeep has to be pretty - not the garage.

Looks like tomorrow I am having a Jeep party at my house- then we will all be departing from Winsted in a convoy to Ellington for the Great American Jeep rally. I am excited, it should be a lot of fun.

Like my new paint color guys? I decided clay was better than black for my grill

Getting some flex next to Andy on some jeep only parking

Temporary bumper sticker courtesy of my buddies son who thought Alice and Swamp B**** should match.
