Oh yes! So Alice and Swamp B**** had a little date yesterday. Met up with Mike for some after work wheeling. We didn't actually find our desired destination but found a whole new and might I add, unexpected area. A nice variety of terrain - but so many mosquitoes. No pictures because we were so focused on finding a scenic overlook area, then getting back before dark. But take my word for it, it was awesome.

Honestly, I couldn't see you needing more than 2ft of it at the absolute most. If you ran it from the back side of the oil pan to the front of the cat it would most likely block most of the heat you feel in the front floor pans. I may have just peaked my own interest more than anything now

I think this is the longest period of inactivity since the creation of this blog. Hope everything is okay.

You are right. I've been sick and really stressed at work. Haven't had much energy to do much.

But I am happy to report that the first round of sanding on the interior is almost done. I am spending my hungover morning drinking a coffee in the sears parking lot listening to free bird waiting for the store to open to get a few missing tools.

My lesson learned of the week: don't expect a 3/8" torx set to work on an 8 year old jeep. Must get 1/2" adapter or a 1/2" torx set.

OK. Errands are finally done for the day. Front seats are coming out.

Game plan:
Finish sanding and solvent wipe
Get painters tape around edges
1st coat of monstaliner
Replace serpentine belt
replace battery (jeep wouldn't start after I thought I had a good start to the day by getting a $46 adapter kit for $17 because of improper signage) I shelled out the extra cash for the heavy duty - tip and vibration resistant battery.

And.... can anyone guess what this is for?!? I went to 4 places trying to find it.

Two rounds of sanding done. Washed out inside, dried then did a solvent wipe and dry. Painters tape is on.

Fan is in the jeep to get any last moisture out while we eat dinner. Then coat #1 begins!

So, getting it out of the garage to hose down was interesting....

Alice all scuffed up

The color is really off because there was just a spotlight in a dark garage - in real light it is a beautiful army green... but thank you!

23:29 - mostaliner is complete.

Serpentine belt and battery replaced

Offensively and seizure-inducing chrome grill is plastidipped and the rust spots from under the overlay are sanded and primed.

One door limiting strap was redone and resized.

Sundowner's r&d fuel pump donation is boxed up and ready to be shipped.

So - I think I have made up for my recent inactivity. That's my problem... I'm either balls to the wall or nothing. I think I may need to work on a little thing called moderation and level-loading. Well, that's all for tonight boys. I'm showering and crawling into bed.

Just waiting until I can get her into natural light to get good pictures. She's in the 24 hour cure period now.

Thanks Nate! I'm pretty happy with the work.

Today is: final coat on plastidip

Silicone on rock sliders

See about the rear bumper frame tie in

Paint my diff covers and maybe even a bit on the rear bumper.

Tidy up the garage and I'll be happy to call it a good weekend.

Not the kind of pics he was referring to. You are slipping!
