A hole saw? What do you need a hole saw for to install a set of sliders.

The a to z wheel well to wheel well versions require you to drill an access hole to get the rearmost bolt on. I was thinking the extra protection would be worth it but now I'm thinking Tyler had the right idea.

Can you post some pictures when you do this mod? My Rokmen slider are WW2WW and I didn't need a hole saw. I can't picture why you would need to cut a hole with hole saw.

Absolutely. I actually plan to document this mod well since the instructions are a tad sparse. I plan to see of course, if I can do it without cutting into the body. Where is your rearmost fastening bolt located? How is the hardware secured?

Meaning that you also had to cut into the tub to get access?

With nutserts you wouldn't need to cut an access hole. They are just like the ones that the stock rubi sliders use to attach, just a bit bigger.

Oh, I see now. I wonder if I could find a proper sized nutsert and do it that way instead of cutting the tub.

Genright sells them, but I'm sure you can local source.

Thanks Andy!

I like the "well... she made it through..." at the end.

Ill try to get the one that Mike took from the other side where you can see how high the water was in that deep spot.

Question Kate, when you reattached your rear view mirror did you use store bought epoxy, or did you use a home brew special recipe from work?

... I may have borrowed a UV cured plastic to glass bonder.

However- an epoxy should work just as well. Well - as well as you need it to for the application. I think I could put the jeep on the sun or hang an elephant from the mirror now and the windshield would be damaged first.

Also - my hopeful plan for when I get out of work is to get started on getting the sliders on. Fingers crossed.
