OK - knocking item was my track bar. Fixed!

But... its hot as all hell and I'm too miserable to do anything else today. F*** everything about this weather.

Also - the trektop really makes the jeep. I got 3 compliments on her today alone.

Barely. I've been rather preoccupied lately and haven't had much time for jeep things. Soon though. Sliders will be going up. I also have a few wheeling trips lined up soon.

Agreed. I've taken to only working on the Jeep in the mornings and evenings. Which is making my slow progress even slower.

Indeed! well... ish. Hell - I was out the door at 6:30 and it was still too hot and humid for me to be comfortable.

I will take the arizona 115 any day over a new england 85. For the past 3 days its been so humid visibility is down to like a half mile at most.... and I live in the foothills now - I cant imagine what the CT river valley is like.

Well... I have been doing some thinking of whats happening to Alice next.

My current list for the next month or so: ( I love these ever-evolving lists)

Bedline the tub - researching compounds now. Anyone have a preferred brand or method of application? I am leaning towards roll-on, but I am not opposed to investing in a compressor either.

Install rock sliders - just need to take the stock Rubicon guards off, line them up and drill them. Definitely happening soon.

Get frame tie-ins installed for the rear bumper. Just a PITA task that needs to get done before I forget and try hooking something up to the rear.

Debating removing my spare entirely. It does look nice, but it is extra weight that isn't beneficial to me. I am actually thinking about selling it since the cover is very rare and probably worth a lot of money to the right buyer. I have an offer for $300 for the cover, MTR and Moab wheel - I think its a little low and I will hold out. No rush here!

Ok - these are all fairly low-budget practical things to do. But after talking with a local jeep mechanic I have been thinking some bad thoughts about replacing my stock exhaust. We will see...

You really think the sahara cover is rare and worth big bucks? You can still buy them new from mopar. Yours has been on the back of your jeep for 8 years in the weather. Id take that $300 and use it for another upgrade. Seems like a lot of talking on here and no enough photos
