Ah.... I see what he did there. But really - I had been working on the jeep since 8am. I was sweaty, half drunk, exhausted and high as a kite on fumes. I justify myself missing one. Lol

Well - I wasn't as productive today. My dearest Lizzle came down. May I ask all you boys to give her good ju-ju for her third and final interview tomorrow. So we ended up road tripping to the boarding school she went to and had a lovely story telling/reminiscing day. Plus the local pizza place had long trail on tap. Nom nom nom.

So - the front seats are gingerly being put back in now. I decided to throw some black krylon on my console while it was out (my god - it looks fantastic) and got my last coat of plastidip on the grill.

Pics? I'm considering painting my radio bezel silver to match Misty's exterior

I never make the same mistake twice - it's more like three or four times.

S***ty garage lighting pics - better to follow

As seen on the right: drywall I used to paint the grill. Turns out - I'll be making a sweet piece of art out of something that was in the trash pile.

Ye of little faith Nate. We still have a couple weekends before we fall into a freeze. I said it would be done and it gets done.

Thanks a bunch! This rig is my pride and joy. I can't believe how far it has come in a year.

I was pleasantly surprised myself when it came out so nifty looking. Perhaps later in the week I will get drunk and creative and bust out the art set and make it super nifty. It shall definitely make a sweet garage decoration.

Well- the not starting issue was neither the belt nor battery.

Jeep just clicks when I try to turn it over. Starter maybe?

Sounds like starter to me. Very easy to replace

Very good to hear. Sean has been trying to replace his on a grand Cherokee and its impossible. How long of a job you think? Something that can be done in a work parking lot?

It took me about an hour in the advanced auto parts parking lot at 8pm this past January by myself with a flashlight

Check the battery cables real good also Kate. Then take a small hammer and screwdriver and tap on the starter a few times. That will usually wake it up a few more times. Its easy to replace on a wrangler though.
