Had a great weekend wheeling at Gulches. I like that park a lot. Sucks that its about 6 hrs away. Give me a couple days to get some pics up.

In other news, On my way home yesterday I went about 2 hrs out of my way and picked up an awesome axle for a real good deal. I snagged an EATON HO72 for $100. It has 4.57 gears with an open carrier. Whenever I'm ready to throw tons under my jeep this will be my rear axle hopefully. What i would really love to do is snag another one and make it a steering front axle with D60 outers. Basically an EATON 6072

anyway here are some pics.

First loaded onto the trailer. This thing is HEAVY!!!!! around 350lbs I read.

unloading it by myself. So easy with the engine hoist

moved it into the garage

and its new home for a while

Yea Skip it a real cool guy. I chatted with him for a couple hrs on sat. Genuine nice guy. His rig is pretty awesome too.

I also ran into Phillip(phil1330) and wheeled for a bit with him. Great guy with an awesome YJ.

That is a steal man, those axles aren't only hard to find but they r bulletproof. Arguably the strongest stock axle ur gona find for our application...

Feels good to back in the YJ forum, I'm sick of plastidip threads. It's awesome seeing how your jeep got to where it is now. Subscribed, I am here to stalk you.

Sooooo, I know where there is an aluminum 6.0 very close to you for very cheap..... Would be an awesome match to the tons set-up. You said you would upgrade the driveline when you went to tons.

Just sayin....
