I've only been once and it seems pretty nice. It has 100 of miles of trails so there is always new stuff to ride. It does have a lot of trail riding before you hit obstacles but I don't mind that especially since the weather should be nice.

havent noticed any driving throught the brakes yet. I read about that and it seemed to be more with the automatics... If I do have a problem with it though I'll upgrade my brakes. Do you have that problem with the Atlas?
It'll drive through them but I havent run into any situations where its a problem. With the 5speed its really a non issue and the 4-1 is amazing you'll be trying things you never would have before since it'll be controlled. Its just funny to put it in low stomp the brakes and have the engine bog for a second then keep going.

Big update. Nothing Jeep related though.

I picked up a new DD/tow rig today. Ive been browsing for a while and finally bit the bullet.

The new rig is a 2007.5 Dodge Ram Megacab 2500. It has the 6.7 Cummins Turbo Diesel with factory exhaust brake and only 81,000 miles .

and of course a lot of pics

And just for reference my old DD/tow rig. I bought this brand new and am sad to see it go. Its a 2008 F150 STX with a lot of upgrade

And no stacks in the plans. Im not really a fan of stacks. Especially on a DD.

I'm not big on stacks either and it should be nice for towing.

Truck is gorgeous bro! Can't wait to take it for a ride. Should haul the jeep nicely. Do yourself a favor; invest in a good hitch and ball setup. I ran a pin mount with a 'Uni-Ball' that made swapping the ball and height a cinch. I was always towing a bunch of different things for friends.

Thanks man. Let me know when you want to check it out. You working Monday?

I have 2 hitches that i carry around. A standard 2" ball one and a 2 5/16" ball one for when i tow a car hauler. I always carry them in my truck

The truck also has a 5th wheel ball in the bed. I havent checked to see what size it is yet.

Yea i will get rid of the bedliner. In due time. Once i do i will probably Line-X the bed. unlike my last truck

Im not sure i really wanna make money hauling peoples junk. Remember this is also my DD. i put 96,000 on my F150 in 5 yrs with normal driving and moving cross country a couple times.
