Gas tank looks great by the way.
I'd love to try to get a run going in July. As long as my rig isnt in pieces like it always is.

Where are you thinking about wheeling?

I backed the jeep out of the garage for the first time today in a little while. Figured it was the perfect time to snag a bunch of pics of the rig and throw them up here. Nothing in particular, just random.

Also found a throwback picture. This is new yrs day 2011 in Johnson Valley. Man a lot has changed on the rig in 2 yrs.

I've been wanting to ride at Uwharrie. It's on my hit list.

I understand about the rig in pieces. My D30 is in pieces now so I can put my new seals in. It's leaking like a sieve on the pass. side. I think one problem is the plastic bushing. It looks like it's shot.

I have a jeep...and it is modified...I win.

Well I decided to take advantage of the crummy weather in NC right now and spend a little bit of time in the garage.

I decided to throw some wheel spacers on. I was very apprehensive about running them but after researching a lot, I think they'll be fine. The main reason I want/need to get wheel spacers is because of tire contact with my front shocks. After installing the hoops(which moved my shocks outboard a bit) my tire contacts the shocks before i reach the amount of bump I'd like. Figure I'll space out the tires a bit then build up some good bumps. I decided to do 1.25" Spidertrax wheel spacers in the front. With the front spaced out some I figured I might as well do the rear. For the rear I chose some 1.5" Spidertrax spacers to get the 8.8 closer to the width of my Dturdy.

A couple pics.
