I was debating the same seats and ended up with the corbeaus cause there wasnt a lead time and AtoZ was building my cage.

To give you an idea of what a guy our size looks like in a set of them ha.
looks real good man. look comfy as well. i ran across a guy on NC4x4 selling some VERY USED seats for a good price. i think i might try to snag them. he only wants $75 for the pair. i figure i could just get some new covers. he does live over 4 hrs away though

Thanks for the tip man!
i think thats about the yr i got. they work perfect. you do have to shave down a little on one side of the banjo. i love how cheap they are and how perfect they work for me.

your welcome on the tip

hows the welder working out for you?

Thanks Lou. it'll be a while before i install them. once i do weld them in ill have to check measurements for shocks.

just by mocking them up i know im going to have to cut through my fenders for the upper part of the mount and shock

looks like ill also be running somewhere between a 14-16" shock probably

Got the driver's side seat in. Way more of a PITA than expected. Of course the old seat broke onthe way out so I had to mod and fabricate so I can drive it to work tomorrow. The TJ seat is super comfy, but sits a bit too high. Gonna have to take it back out and make up some new risers. I might pick up those driver's side risers you have to get them fabbed up.

How was the trip back?

just by looking at them I figured they'd sit a little high.

Well, maybe i will hit up your house this week and grab that bottle and other parts so I can fix the sheet metal. I should have had you grab it yesterday. I need to go check the crab pots, see if we increased our bounty! You have a use for these TJ sliders and risers?

When are you going to make some time and put in those new shock mounts? Can't wait to see how they look.

It'll be a while before i install the hoops. Im going to be real busy with work the next couple months. Plus i finally got my new registration in yesterday so i can finally drive it again. i think i might enjoy taking it to work every now and then instead of having it OOC while i figure out the shocks

mounted the bender today. I used some concrete sleeve anchors, that way i can move the bender when not using it and not have to worry about tripping over anything. i decided to mount it in my driveway vs. garage because i wanted more space than ill ever need for bending, plus i dont want to have to pull the jeep out of the garage everytime i want to bend some tube.

mounted in the driveway
