Depends on whether or not my shock issues are resolved.

Minnesote is the land of 10,000 lakes.

10,000+lakes = ALLOT more Mosquito's. Otherwise the bugs are minimal. Camp fire keeps them away.

Sherwood Forest Campground is nice. It is directly connected to the park so you don't have to air back up or re-connect swaybars to get back to your site.

Thats a nice set up , wish more places were like that . If we go to Sleeping Bear this fall ( wifes request ) I will have to seriously consider heading over your way .

After yesterdays chainsaw festival I am flat wore out , sadly that was day 1 of a 2 day event . I hope to have everything wrapped up by noon and then I will chop up the tub section for Clint . Maybe this afternoon when I am done mowing grass I can sneak in washing the LJ , its filthy . I enjoyed my trip out west , but there sure is a lot of catching up to do ...

We still have a White Castle or two open here in Ohio. I bought a 18x36 cast iron griddle and make my own onion covered cheese sliders now.

My wife can eat them non stop , but I cant stand the smell of them . I guess its all what you grew up with as I love seafood and she cant touch it .

The yard is almost back to normal . By sunset tomorrow the steel panel I cut out for Clint will be half way to Washington and the yard will be clean .

Very cool G. Put the old boy (j truck) to work. There is one on Craigslist about 3 hours away from me for $700 and I am debating making a trip.

The truck is younger than me But we both have some good work left in us.

$700 is cheap for a J truck , there really arent that many left around . More people know me locally from driving the J trucks than the Rubi , the old J trucks just stand out .

Looking at all that stacked wood makes me tired. I LOVE that truck. I keep seeing them on craigslist. I think it would be cool to restore one - maybe hot rod it a little.

Thanks again for the patch panel!

You dont see too many J trucks around here anymore , they are a peculiar breed but I like having them . I hadnt considered hot rodding one , as I use them as tractor/work trucks . But a 401 and built auto would be a lot of fun.

No worries on the patch panel , hopefully you can get it stitched in place in time to get to Northridge's get together . Thanks for the springs , hopefully they will give me enough room to sneak some 35s under the Jeep .

Havent gotten much else done as I have been on tree clean up duty since I got back from the trip . Still trying to decide between 4.88s and 5.13s , I dont run the Jeep past 65 so top end isnt a factor .
Also narrowing the tire selection down . 35x12.5x15 is the size I am going to run as I already have beadlocks . The General red letters , BFG KM2s , BFG Krawlers and Cooper STTs all look good with similar prices but I am not familiar with any of them as all I have run over the last 15 years have been Iroks , MTRs and the Destination MTs I have now .
As with most Jeeps theres still a lot I want to do , just need the time and money to make it happen .
