I'd also probably pick "truss" over "sleeve" for my own build, but I'm also the type to pick truss AND sleeve, so, moot point there as well. All the same...no arguments; and go ahead and cut a couple extra C-gussets, while you're at it.
I can make a few extra gussets while the plasma is fired up .

33s for now , Metric 34s in the future . I am hoping it will be able to hold up with very few issues .

Look forward to seeing your C-gussets you make. Might have to throw my name in on the list for a set.

I'm only about halfway through, but sincerely impressed!

An awesomely well-thought out practical rig with some very clean fab work. Top-notch, yo!

I dont think my parts will all get here before I have to leave for Minnesota, so that means no gussets til I get back and tear down the axle .

You've been in the game a long time Beasley! No wonder you're so cool, calm and collected. Cool photos, nice to reminisce.

I made my TJ look like a Suzuki.

If it's worth doing, then it's worth overdoing.

They are getting harder to find . I was lucky and this one sort of fell in my lap. I do have someone coming to look at the red one today , I need to hide the blue one before he gets here .
