I was talking about rental jeeps for others. I must have missed that the J truck was for her other half. That is a keeper. Need some more shots of the J when you get it on the trails.

I would be really, really happy with a J truck for my birthday. Hell, I would be happy for a set of PIAAs or something for my birthday. Sorry for starting a possibly incriminating conversation. I am really good about that....

Soooo.... How about those rental JKs out there. Is it even worth it? Or would I have much more fun riding shotgun in a real offroad vehicle.

I think it'd be worth it. One company rents lifted JK's on 35's. They're pretty nice.

I did a bit of searching myself. Around $150 a day for a JK, however... I have discovered a problem.

I may have awesome credit, good insurance and a perfect driving record- but most of these companies won't even entertain the idea of renting to someone under the age of 25.

That is a fact! A strange one, but I remember dealing with that during a visit to the homeland (Michigan) a feeeew years ago. That a huge expense also. Join the caravan in ALICE and take a trip that you'll never forget. Moab is like going to another planet.

I'll rent it and we can split the bill and driving time.

Now if we can get Sundowner on board this thing could really be something. We will either never forget how great it was, or need therapy afterwards.

This is some serious teamwork. I am down- unless I just bite the bullet and bring Alice out there....

... and if this is the case, I expect to see Greta there as well.

Also- we didn't do it right unless both of those end results happen.

Someone can drive my rig for a day so I can get liquored up. I'm a great co-pilot and can pull cable like a BOSS. Lol

I'm sure I'll have a spot or two. My son could and will wheel all day and all night. My wife and daughter not so much "Of course the voice's of reason aren't in the Jeep then"
