True true .

On a positive note I think I found the annoying Under Armor buzz I have been chasing . The re routing of the exhaust took care of most of it , but I still had more than I thought would be considered normal . I had looked at the motor mounts previously , but didnt see or feel anything . After the last 1000 miles theres the smallest of marks on the passenger side savvy motor mount block ! Woo Hoo ! Looks like a little time with the grinder and it will be clear .

Wish I had a grinder here

Thanks , too bad your the wrong direction in relation to my trip to Utah Though you do have my wife and kids .

I thought about doing it here , but I would have to drop the main surfboard to raise the engine unless you have an engine crane ? I can live with it , but I am happy to have (hopefully) found the rattle . It will be the first thing I fix when I get home .

Palo Duro Canyon on I 40 in Texas . We are currently in Tucumcari New Mexico and will head North to Blanding Utah tomorrow . So far the LJ is doing great , though the mileage was terrible today as were fighting a headwind . Red Rock is in the near future !

It has been nice so far, other than removing the savvy under armour to fix the new buzz. On a positive note the buzz is fixed and its quiet to drive again.Thank goodness I know the owner of the local machine shop.

Just got a good internet connection for the first time this trip .

More to come once I get out of the mountains . Overall I am happy with what I have built . We drove it out wheeled it and now we are driving back . I have a few bugs to fix , but its minor suspension tweaking .

And this is how I fixed the Savvy Under Armor buzz . It was lots of fun to drop it at the cabin on the gravel driveway . I will say it is easy to remove and all you need is a philips screwdriver and a 9/16th wrench .

First off was to find a jeep friendly machine shop in Blanding Utah . Luckily I knew Jack Montella and his son from previous visits to Blanding . If you are in the area and need work done I highly recomend them . Fair pricing and they are durn nice people too .

Next up was to remove the offending motor mount lift plate . If you look at it you can see the bright spot where it was hitting .

A little mill magic ...

Voila ! One part of the puzzle fixed .

Next up was to elongate the holes on the front brace . The iron worker made quick work of this !

And with this my vibrations have ended and I no longer have to fight putting the front brace on . We removed a lot of material on the lift block , I dont know if anyone else is having this problem or if my Jeep just doesnt fit the mold . Either way it is a LOT quieter and the vibes are back to what I had from the factory .

That picture really does some justice to the size of that hot tub! Great pictures! The Jeep is looking awesome.

The hot tub is deceving looking in most pictures . I wanted to run it , but it was just us on Hells Revenge so I erred on the safe side . My wife was very happy that we didnt run it .
Thanks for the kind words it was a lot of work , but the last two weeks made it all worthwhile .
