That's a big grill.

If it's worth doing, then it's worth overdoing.

I have them all polished and ready to go on tomorrow . I wanted to get them mounted Friday , but with the preparations for my fathers services time ran out .
It was a beautiful weekend that we got to spend with family remembering my dad and spending some time at the beach afterwards . My dad was a man of the water and would have been happy to see us in the ocean this late in the season .
While cleaning up some of the trailer parts in his garage I did find a set of nice 5 on 4.5 old school CJ looking chrome center caps for the beadlocks . So I guess it all worked out like it was supposed to as he would be thrilled that I found something I could use .

We had lunch at one of Pop's favorite places .

Got a little wet in the Atlantic .

And went shelling with the kids .

It was a beautiful day to spend at the beach remembering Pop's.

I polished all four rims by hand . All I am shooting for is a nice shiny easily maintained finish .

Made some good progress today on the LJ and the angry trailer . I am sure you are wondering what is an angry trailer ... well follow the pictures and you will see .

First up I finally got the hubcaps for blue picked up and installed . I am off to the junkyard tomorrow for some various stuff and I will hunting for a set of beauty bands to finish out the wheels .

Heres the wheels polished and the new tires all mounted up. I refinished a set of chrome center caps , but Kimbo said it was too much ... I think I may have a problem .

Spring under with one 35 and one 235/75

Spring under with both 35s installed . At this point I was 3" low from sitting even with the LJ .

Torn down and ready for the axle flip . I had the axle built with no crown for this very reason .

Spring over with the 35s left me a 1/2 " to high with the shackles in the shortest position .

The plan is to make new shackle mounts and weld them to the top of the frame . This will allow for longer shackles and a better angle . The other bonus is that it will allow for more height adjustment and this will allow the trailer to be dead level with the LJ . There ya have it the little trailer has grown up to be the Angry trailer on 35s .
