Today i was bored and i have had my flares off for a while and was getting tired of how nasty it got my jeep so i took the flares and a jig saw and trimmed them up a bit. They turned out better than i thought. I really dont like the 7 inch flares but i believe trimming them helped a bit. I am going to get some stock flares soon though so i dont really care about how clean cut they were. Heres a few pics i just took.

I also finished cleaning up the wiring and sprayed the mesh covers on the speaker box i bought at the local Flea Market for $10 with the speakers already in it. I bought new speaker wire so $17 total investment in a great sounding rear speaker system!!!

Oh and I bought a Hi-Lift and Isolator from TSC a few days ago!!!!

It was really like an out-of-body-experience.
I couldnt do anything for it but watch and take pics on my phone.
What really sucked is that I wasnt able to get the Soft 8 wheels off the truck before it was crushed or wahtever they did with it. Could have made a cool nite-stand...

Not much but today i took the plastic license plate bracket off and drilled holes in my plate and mounted it straight to the body and put two cut pieces of bicycle tube behind it so it doesnt rub the paint. Looks better being flush with the body IMO. I will still get the actual bracket made to hold the plate though. Its like $40.00 and this was free so it might be a while...
I also put my amber lights back in. Got tired of the clear and i actually lost one anyways haha...
New Smittybuilt SRC Stinger bumper and KC Windshield mounts on their way right now!!!!
I will ahve pics once they are both installed and i re-route my Daylighters!

Yea i just drilled the plate. Then you just have to play around with shaping it around the side good. Took a few minutes and looks way better and out of the way!

Looks killer man. Sucks to see your last truck turn into a BAR-BA-Q but at least you got a good replacement.

Sad to see your truck go up in flames but the pics were awesome. That was some presence of mind. Iíve also been following your progress with your present one very keenly. Good job!!

Finally broke down and bought me a bumper!!!! Smittybilt SRC Stinger. Now i need a rear/tire carrier, That wont be from Smittybilt though. I also got new KC windshield mounts since my daylighters wont fit comfortably on the new bumper. I just finished re routing the wires and flipped the windshield to hide it well. I actually went to the local car wash since it was pooring the rain last nite to actually wire them back up. Dedication haha.
Next is maybe a Anti Rock Sway Bar. I have really been looking into them since previous advice on another thread. Its either that or new Simulated BeadLocks...

So i just traded my rusty old 1970 Nova for this beautiful 2003 frame!!! It is extremely mint condition. I was wanting 600 for the car and this frame is worth well more than that!!! Check it out!
Few days from now ill start the swap!
