JT's '99 TJ
I've been lurking around this site for sometime now and have been able to pull some good info from helpful others. First and foremost, thanks to everyone for their help.

This is my '99 TJ. I've had her for close to 5 years. I bought her with 96,000kms and she's just passed the 175,000km mark. The way you see it is the way I got her.

She's my first vehicle and by the way I feel about her, probably my only. I would not give her up for anything.

She's my daily driver and rarely goes off-road. Being my DD and on a limited budget, I don't do much for trail riding. I do all the routine maintanance myself with the help of this site. I take her camping, up to the mountain and to the beach to surf. She even pulls a small 17ft. boat from time to time.

As far as she goes for mods....

Banks air intake, exhaust manifold and everything cat-back (cracked manifold, thought I might as well go all out).
Besttop soft top of sorts (bought it after I slept through a midnight rain storm topless, twice).
SRB Foglights (not shown, painting the chrome)
3-core Rad (is it even a mod?).
Some lift of sorts (not sure how high or what kind of lift, something ProComp)

Future plans for her....

If it's black and fading, repaint it.
Thinking about black headlight bezels (undecided at the moment).
Recessed tail lights (strictly for something different).
Rock sliders (to help the GF get in and to cover some unsightly scratches)

I spent some quality time with her on Sunday and this is how she's turned out. I can't post pics yet, so here are the links.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Looks good, I think that black headlight bezels would look great! What size tires are those?

The last few i couldn't do before, no clicky for ya

The tires are 31 x 10.5 BFG AT.

Thanks for the no click.

I like the colour as well. It has a few chips and scratches but it's holding up well for being nearly 10 years old. I took the Maguires claybar kit to it and removed a lot of crud from the paint. That stuff does wonders.

I was thrown off when I asked a dealership for touch-up paint. Apparently they've discontinued making it for the colour.

Thanks guys. Not too many of this colour kicking around up here. I think I've only ever seen one other TJ with it.

The time now is 05:25 PM.
