Yea, both rear lower control arms broke off the frame and it has holes through it in about 10 spots. I will be sanding the new frame on a few little spots and primer and painting tomorrow when i get out of school. I will post pics of old frame when it is removed and you will crap...

You traded a 1970 Nova for a jeep frame? Next time sell the jeep to fix the Nova.

I hope your planning on buying a decent fire extinguisher to go in the jeep.

The nova was a POS rust bucket man...It was a 4 door, needed floors, rockers quarters, entire interior, bumpers, wiring, lights, you name it. It would start and go into gear and thats it...I got the better end of the deal lol. The dude said he was gonna let his kid work on the car so its all good!!!

So here is what i have been doing the past two days. Might not look like much in pics but i have sanded and scrubbed the entire frame with a brillo pad and water hose. It has zero rust on the entire frame now. I then took it into the garage and sanded it all and cleaned again with a wet and dry towel. Then threw on a coat of Rustoleum Semi Gloss spray paint on the sides. jacked it up and sprayed the top and flipped it over and got the bottom and all the little nooks and crannyies. This frame really didn't need much touch up at all but while I have it i was going to make it look brand spanking new and mission is accomplished. It will sit in the garage at about 65 degrees and dry overnight and either tomorrow or Thursday me and a buddy will haul it to the shop I'm having do the swap since i don't have the tools. Hes not charging really too much...Its all good!

Hope you all like the amount of pics. Next pics will be of the frame under my tub!

So before they start on the frame swap im thinking i should get new bushings since im pretty sure all the bushings are factory. Should i replace just the suspension or body bushings or both? Will it really be worth the extra money to replace all of the bushings??
