Jspecfever XJ 2dr Build

6-20-07

A buddy that i work'd with at UPS took his jeep to the shop because it was running bad. They replaced the timming chain, plugs, wires, distributer, fuel filter, and it still wasnt running right.. i told him i might have been a fuel pump.. The so called "mechanics..." said he needed a motor b/c it was loosing compression and it was blown.. I went to the shop and took a look at it.. wasnt the motor it was the fuel pump like i said from the get go.. Then he was gonna fix it... then they gave him the bill... 400+ he told me if i pay the bill i could have it! SO i bought it and now slowly building it up..

around October 07

I did the cheap 3" block spacer in the rear and a 2" spacer in the front ( wasnt happy because the kit said 3" all around.. and they gave me a 2" spacer.. whatever)

Christmas 07

I got some 31" mud sports on some keystone rims

January 09

The g/f needed to get to work so I told her that she could take my jeep....
She was ran off the road by another vehicle ( I still think she was messing with the damn ipod..) but she ate the ditch hit the concrete drain thing... Went airborn then hit another drain thing.....

End result... My front rims and tires were destroyed...

Leason learned... DONT LET THE GIRLFRIEND DRIVE THE JEEP!!
but she still drives it every now and then like a grandma b/c shes afraid to wreck it again..

Main thing is she was fine.

Feb 09

Got 2 goodyear 31" tires on craigslist

March 09

Found a brushguard at the boneyard.. then chopped.. cut.. and welded it on..

June 09
Straight piped my exhuast. Sounds good but a month later colonial heights police stopped me and told me to put a muffler on.. I might do it lol

I purchased some bushwacker flares for 100 bucks! I researched the web and i didnt see any write ups on this.. so i said "what the hell only $100.. If i didnt like it I could sell it and get my $100 back.

July 19, 2009

I installed the flares

I think it looks weird b/c the tires arnt as wide...
So ill get a set of 33" tires now.

Heres some pics :-D

I really need bigger tires!!

I think it looks pretty good, It would look better if i get some biigger tires...

Before...

After...

Okay after my little F up with the TJ bush wacker flare converion... I finally got it somewhat close to the same color. Primed and painted them with spray cans so it's not gonna be "show perfect" but here it is..
Before...

After!!

Didnt turn out too bad.

November 2009
Got some 15x10 Soft 8's and some FREE! used 32' BFG Mud-terrains
