I did remove the sound dampener. It was kind of a pain, but well worth it in looks IMO. I used a $25 heat gun I bought at Lowes and a heavy chisel. It worked pretty well. It is a little time consuming, but it made a very clean look. Over all, a great mod.

I have been meaning to do it for a while, but I finally drilled the mirrors. I am hoping that works as well as I have heard.

I had to throw on a pair of Daystar tailgate bump stops until I get a better tire carrier.

Easiest way to remove that stuff is a air chisel. Zip zip all done and ready for paint.

I put on a pair of Daystar hood wranglers to round out a day of a few simple mods... No more hood flutter for me!
