Thanks. I'm getting pretty anxious to get the thing put together, but I still have a ****LOAD of things to get done before that happens.

I got some of the bare metal and rust/corrosion spots inside the tub sanded and covered in por15 today. I'll start scuffing and sanding tomorrow for the Raptor.

Installed a Carli 2.0 Commuter suspension and a sweet audio system in this 2014 Cummins.

Had my buddy that welds over today for a quick cage fix. He is going to go over a few of the welds before it goes back in.

Before: After cutting the welds. This tube was just slighlty off, and frankly I have OCD when it comes to these type of details.

After: Tube cut and tacked in proper location.

Some more pictures from today.

That is my perfectionism kicking in. No one else would ever notice it or care. It was a strong weld with good penetration. Just something that would drive me nuts, and if its already out of the truck I might as well take care of it.

The guy welding it thought i was nuts too. The space in that megacab is nuts compared to my quadcab. Once the Jeep is done I will defiantly be looking for a Cummins megacab.
