jforse-TJ part 2

As many of you know I picked the Music City Flop project from Hendrix last week. He has built an amazing Jeep and I am proud to have it in my garage after a long trip home. There are a few parts that I need to replace that were not included in the sale and few things I want to change. I would have never been able to build this Jeep to this level with the condition of my back. This is going to be a slow build.

This was my last TJ that I regretted selling.

Picked up in Nashville:

Now she sits in the garage waiting for some parts.

Build up until my ownership:

The big one is getting all the seems on the tub and the frame coated to protect it from the weather here. Then get the hydro assist back in the Jeep. I have already ordered the ram. I think I'm going to drill and tap the Durango box and mod the factory pump.

I want to get make some frame tie ins for the cage. I have a Raptor spray in bed liner kit that is going to be used. I want to make a sheet metal center console. I need to swap some Bilsteins back in. I am undecided if I am going to put a Antirock back in the rear, and I need to eventually get some bumpers back on this thing. I'd also like to move the fuel cell as far back as possible. and put a CJ tailgate on it.

Thats the short list that is going to take some time. I'm going to stick with the JK wheels and paint them all to match. The damage from the flop will need to be painted since it is rusting.

When John told me who it was going to. I was glad. I know you'll take care of it.

Rear Currie 4" coils - 190 shipped. (They've been sitting in the back of my Jeep for mock up but won't work out for me.)

Hornblasters Shocker S4 horn set with some extras $210 shipped. (It is not OBA, just an accessory for OBA)

"LCOG" isn't cheap and it certainly isn't easy. If you think so, you are doing it wrong. If you aren't willing to put in the effort, don't label your build "LCOG". You are just a cheap ******bag.

Glad to see it made it home safely. I'm ready to see how you make it your own and watch as it evolves to your likings.

Well I got shipping conformation on the PSC ram from Poly Performance today. Talked with the guys at west texas offroad and they are sending me fittings and hoses. I think I'm going to order a PSC pulley for the pump and do the pump mod that west texas does. Then I need to drill and tap the box.

I also ordered some seem sealer that a painter friend suggested so I can seal up some spots on the tub. Then I'm going to spray the inside of the tub with the Raptor liner.

If the guy had not pushed the pick up date forward 3 days maybe I would have had time to spray some Bedliner in there. I have had the kit for 2 years. You know I am just kidding, but really I would have.

I can't wait to see it all one color in there.

You did plenty of extra work for me. I like doing this stuff anyways. Between the ****ty weather and the iron ore mud/dirt at Gilbert this guy needs to be sealed up.

I'm trying to decide between 1.75" wheel spacers and 1.5" wheel spacers with the factory JK wheels. Any thoughts?
