I know some are not of my Jeep. We had a good day today. No major breaks. My front driveshaf had to be removed before I left the park. The slip joint is REALLY loose. I also got a dent in my oil pan.

Well I need to find a new front driveshaft. If you have one you want to get rid of let me know! 2000 TJ with 4.0l and NV3550.

Thanks,

Well it has been awhile since an update. I got the front driveshaft rebuilt. The check valve that was installed inline caused to much pressure and blew the pressure damper on the fuel rail. So its time to just drop the tank and replace the fuel pressure regulator. The front springs are starting to sag pretty bad. Sent a PM off to Jeff from RC to see if anything can be done. I have also ditched the rear tire carrier. It liked to make alot of noise and the latch mech. was horse ****. I plan on doing a Treks tire carrier.

Thanks. I actually have a TJ D44 that needs some work that I will eventually toss in. Well Jeffery made good on the 2.5" springs and I should have them next week sometime.

jforse--if you don't mind, where did you get a new front DS from? I need one and can't find one anywhere for a decent price, ie under $100.

I couldnt find a good one for a decent price. I ended up bringing my stock one to a local driveshaft shop and they rebuilt it. Ended up costing about $50 They put a new centering ball in and cleaned up the splines. Installed a new boot, and balanced it out. Very happy with there work. I love your build by the way!

Just won a set of these on ebay!!!!

you can go with the Hockey puck idea.
dont know if you've seen it but basically drill and tap a hole in the spring perch and then drill a hole in a hockey puck and mount it..

Yea I've seen and not really a fan. imped has the same suspension setup as me so I was curious how his did with the 35's and rubbing. It seems like I have a few more inches of up travel that is being limited by the bump on the RC 2.2 shocks.
